2013 Annual Membership Meeting

The annual membership meeting took place on October 19 at the historically designated Oakley J. Hall house built in 1926 located at 3510 Dove Court. Oakley Hall was a ship captain and the owner of the Star & Crescent Boat Company, a harbor ferry and tugboat service that was passed down in his family and eventually became San Diego Harbor Excursions. The builder is unknown.

The placement of the home offers exceptional harbor views and gives meaning to the neighborhood name "Inspiration View." This home is Mediterranean-influenced Spanish Eclectic style and features a rounded entry door, a wonderful Batchelder fireplace, much original hardwood interior detailing, and several original bathrooms. The grand living room, cozy dining room, interesting interior details, and excellent views will make a wonderful setting for our annual membership meeting.
