A group of concerned Mission Hills residents mobilized this year to preserve the Red Bungalow. In less
than a month the group was able to gather over 1,100 signatures on a petition to the City of San Diego
to save the Red Bungalow! The petition was submitted to the Mayor, City Council and Director of
Development Services on August 10, 2022. We hope that our city officials will listen to the voices of the
community and help us preserve this beloved and irreplaceable part of our neighborhood’s heritage.
