Below are the unaudited 2022 financial statements of the Mission Hills Heritage organization that have been prepared from our books and records.
The board of Mission Hills Heritage takes seriously its responsibility for managing the resources entrusted to it by the membership. We annually plan a level of spending that directly supports the anticipated needs of the programs and ongoing operations, as well as extraordinary needs that may arise from our community’s historical resources, character and charm.
In December 2021 the Inspiration Heights Historic District was accepted by the National Historic Register of Historic Places and in January 2022 we submitted our request to the City to add this National Historic District to the local San Diego inventory of historic districts. In support of this effort, we have been communicating with the City’s historic staff in regard to their process and timeline to accomplish this task.
Over the past year we held our first walking tour in eighteen months due to COVID restrictions and provided comments for the NAVWAR project and various other projects affecting Mission Hills. With your help we will continue to be a vital and recognized force in promoting and protecting our heritage for years to come.
